L.M.S. 16 Ton Mineral 2,599 wagons were built in 1946-7 to D2109. Door types varied and there is a choice of pressed or welded side and end doors in the kit. 20,000 more wagons similar to this type were built to the order of the Ministry of War Transport, later becoming BR D1/102.
