For best results these transfers should be applied to a gloss surface.  If a matt finish is required, this may be achieved in a final varnish coat which will also provide greater protection for the model.

How to apply the transfers:-

Clean any grease or oil from the surface and dry thoroughly.  Cut the backing paper to shape around the transfer and dip in lukewarm water for 15-45 seconds to soften the adhesive lubricant.  Do not allow the transfer to float off the backing paper.  Place the backing paper against the model and slide the transfer onto the model.  Final positioning can be achieved using a blunted cocktail stick.  When the transfer is in the correct position, use a cotton bud or tissue to press it down on to the model, removing any bubbles from under it and absorbing any excess water.
